Celebrate winter in the city with the ninth annual Bloor-Yorkville IceFest!
You and your family will marvel at the incredible "Heat Wave Ice Exhibit", bringing the tropics to Toronto, in the winter. From palm trees, a surfer in a barrel wave, to tropical flowers, dolphins, a smiling sun on the beach and a tikki hut, crafted from an astonishing 20,000 lbs. of ice.
Live DJ Stage featuring the sounds of Bellosound.
Donate to the Heart and Stroke Foundation
February is Heart Month and the Bloor-Yorkville BIA is proud to continue supporting the Heart and Stroke Foundation during IceFest.
For a donation of $2, visitors can sample tasty "Maple Syrup Taffy" from 1 pm – 4 pm each day on Cumberland Street.
We will be distributing “Ice Kiddie Cubes” with a collectible toy inside, at 2 pm each day, in the Village of Yorkville Park, for a $2 donation.
Event volunteers provided by the heart and stroke foundation of Ontario.
There will be a selection of our neighbourhood’s fine restaurants, serving hot drinks, soups, crepes, mac n’cheese and more for all visitors (prices may vary). These restaurants include: Carens Wine and Cheese, Crêpes à GoGo and Limonana, Jacques Bistro du Parc, Sassafraz and Yorkville Espresso Bar.
This is an all ages, family friendly, FREE event; all you have to do is wear warm clothes, and bring a hearty winter spirit, and don’t forget a camera to capture the moments in ice forever!
