Cumberland Street & Bellair Street will be closed to traffic along the park perimeter.

Celebrate winter in the city at Bloor-Yorkville’s 10th annual Icefest!

Toronto’s premier cultural district will celebrate this landmark year by transforming into a showcase of incredible ice sculptures and live ice carving demonstrations for the entire family to enjoy.

This year, Bloor-Yorkville will be bringing the past back to life in ice with a “Frozen in Time” ancient Egyptian-inspired showcase of striking carvings. From King Tut, to two Pharaohs, an Anubis, an Iris with a Clock and Egyptian Gods, crafted from an astonishing 20,000 lbs. of ice.

Live DJ featuring the sounds of Bellosound.

Donate to the Heart and Stroke Foundation

February is Heart Month and the Bloor-Yorkville BIA is proud to continue supporting the Heart and Stroke Foundation during Icefest.

For a donation of $2, visitors can sample tasty “Maple Syrup Taffy” from 1 pm – 4 pm each day on Cumberland Street.

We will be distributing “Ice Kiddie Cubes” with a collectible toy inside, at 2 pm each day, in the Village of Yorkville Park, for a $2 donation.

Event volunteers provided by the heart and stroke foundation of Ontario.

Refreshments Available

There will be a selection of our neighbourhood’s fine restaurants and retailers, serving hot drinks, soups, crepes, mac n’cheese and more for all visitors (prices may vary). These include: Carens Wine and Cheese, Carol’s Cheesecake Company, Crêpes à GoGo, Holt Renfrew, Jacques Bistro du Parc and Sassafraz.

This is an all ages, family friendly, FREE event; all you have to do is wear warm clothes, and bring a hearty winter spirit, and don’t forget a camera to capture the moments in ice forever!
