IceNite guests will enjoy a glistening view of the Toronto skyline from the top-floor ballroom – Stop 33 – and rub elbows with Yorkville’s movers and shakers, as they launch Bloor-Yorkville IceFest.

This event is a fundraiser in support of the Yonge-Bay-Bloor Business Association (YBB), a not-for-profit organization committed to advancing the development of the Yorkville district as a desireable shopping, business, professional, commercial and residential area.

Ice Carving Competition

The 8th Annual Sassafraz Ice Carving Competition takes over the Village of Yorkville Park, as great masterpieces begin to emerge beneath the picks, chisels and even chainsaws of talented carvers. Cast your vote for your favourite sculpture between 3 and 5 pm, for your chance to win one of three Bloor-Yorkville Prize Packages. The People’s Choice Sculpture will be announced at 5:15 pm in the park.

Underwater Kingdom

Explore the magical story of the Underwater Kingdom in ice. A half sunken pirate ship with treasure chests of ice crystals illuminates the city while King Neptune and a lovely Mermaid lay on a bed of crystalline coral close by.
Donate $5 to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, pose in a giant clam shell and walk away with a digital photo taken by photographer Henry Lin.
