Hilary Macmillan x Barbie:
131 Bloor Street West

In an exciting new partnership between Canadian fashion designer, Hilary Macmillan, and the one and only Barbie, Bloor-Yorkville is now home to their first concept shop! Opening its doors on August 11th, guests will be able to experience a world curated and designed by Macmillan, featuring the designer’s most beloved silhouettes and styles, reimaged to reflect the aesthetic world of Barbie.
The pop-up will remain open through until September and will feature 15 Barbie capsule pieces.

This fantastic addition to Bloor Street brings Canadian fashion to the forefront. The Montreal-based company designs and manufactures leather bags, accessories, jackets, and outerwear, with all products designed in Montreal and 90% of production taking place locally. Their design team sources fabrics from all over the world, putting effort into maintaining eco-conscious choices, innovation, and, superior quality. Along with apparel for both men and women, M0851 offers timeless leather bags, including cross-body, backpacks, belt bags and much more.
Hazukido
1200 Bay Street
We bet you’ve never experienced a croissant like those at Hazukido! Now open at 1200 Bay Street, Hazudiko insists on the “Shokunin spirit of Japan,” celebrating the fine art of baking. Their ingredients are of the highest quality, imported from both France and Japan (for the butter and the flour). While preserving the classic qualities of a French croissant, the unique Japanese folding style creates a “honeycomb” texture and distinct crunch. Their team bakes fresh products each day and with over 140 flavours in their repertoire, (including everything from savory lobster to lemon meringue), we’re not sure that just one visit with suffice!
Balenciaga
92 Yorkville Ave
For the high fashion lovers, Balenciaga recently opened its largest North American flagship in the heart of Bloor-Yorkville. The multi-level, 7000sq f space was designed to feature Balenciaga’s new “distressed,” industrial aesthetic and features a variety of rare and hard-to-source items, not found in other Balenciaga boutiques. Fans are able to shop everything from of-the-moment “it bags,” to sneakers, and full apparel collections for both men and women. The global brand is right at home on this stretch of Yorkville neighbouring with Versace, Stone Island, Brunello Cucinelli, and Christian Louboutin.
W Hotel
90 Bloor Street East
A most anticipated opening, the W Hotel officially opened its first Canadian location at 90 Bloor Street East. Along with 254 guest rooms (including 30 suites), the W offers a number of new dining and nightlife destinations for both travellers and locals! Located street side, is Public School, their hybrid coffee shop, plant-forward kitchen, and cocktail bar. Designed to be a “social hub,” guests are invited to work, socialize, and even throw events in the Public School space. The Living Room restaurant promises a “Yorkville Vibe” for those who want to experience life like a local, featuring Toronto-inspired tapas, along with coffee, tea, and spirits. Of course, the long-awaited brand-new rooftop space, Skylight, offers a truly glamorous experience with a boho-inspired outdoor oasis. Enjoy the summer sunsets while discovering Skylight’s Mediterranean raw bar and mezze.
