The Bloor-Yorkville BIA is proud to return as the Official Community Partner for CANFAR‘s (Canadian Foundation for Aids Research) Bloor Street Entertains (BSE). This annual charity event brings together our esteemed retailers and renowned chefs for a one-of-a-kind evening. CANFAR is dedicated to ending the HIV endemic in Canada and has raised more than $26 million toward HIV/Aids research projects, each of which has led to tremendous breakthroughs in prevention, testing, treatment, and stigma prevention.
CANFAR is committed to directing fundraising investments and efforts where they are needed most: closing gaps in awareness and access to care for priority populations such as Indigenous and African, Caribbean, and Black peoples, racialized women, and people who inject drugs and use substances.
This year marks the 29th edition of Bloor Street Entertains, taking place on November 21st, one week before world AIDS Day. Bloor Street Entertains is a one-of-a-kind fundraising gala featuring fine dining experiences at luxury venues throughout Bloor-Yorkville, with the evening commencing at the Official After Party at the Four Seasons Hotel.
We’re pleased to announce a number of participating Bloor-Yorkville dinner venues, including: Brunello Cucinelli, Ferragamo, Four Seasons Hotel Toronto, Gardiner Museum, The Hazelton Hotel, Holt Renfrew, ISAIA, Lafayatte148, Max Mara, Mine & Yours, Park Hyatt Toronto, Peter Triantos Art Gallery, RIMOWA, Saint Laurent, SMEG Canada, Taglialatella Galleries, and William Ashley.
Each of these fantastic spaces will be transformed into intimate dinner settings with guests also receiving invitations to the official After Party taking place at the Four Seasons Hotel. The After Party includes the infamous Silent Auction, featuring everything from global vacation packages, art pieces, spa experiences, fashion items, and more. This year, the iconic Gigi Gorgeous will be the official host of the after party.
There are also 10 participating Bloor-Yorkville chefs and restaurants: Alobar, Buca Yorkville, Cafe Boulud, Eataly, Holts Cafe, Four Seasons Hotel, Holt’s Café, ONE Restaurant, Sassafraz and Sofia Restaurant.
There are still tickets available for both single seats and dinner tables! We encourage you to visit the official CANFAR website to learn more about this incredible charity organization, make a donation, or to purchase tickets to this year’s Bloor Street Entertains.
