Her show will also include her hit singles “Surrounded”, “Time”, “Be Somebody”, “In This Life” and “Feels Like Home” which has over 34 Million streams on Spotify.
An incredibly talented vocalist and writer, Chantal Kreviazuk has written for superstars including Drake, Pitbull, Christina Aguilera, Kendrick Lamar, and many others. Her performance will be an uplifting way to kick off the holiday season!
Toronto’s Jeremi Albino to Perform as Opening Act
Opening the event is special guest and Toronto rising star Jeremie Albino, known for his soulful storytelling and kinetic performances. His music is an eclectic mix of Americana, folk, and country. Jeremie is best known for his hit singles “Been Worryin,” with over 1.7 million streams, “Shripwreck,” and “Acre of Land.”
Tree Lighting Ceremony
This year’s event will be hosted by etalk host and judge on Canada’s Drag Race, Traci Melchor, who will be helping us countdown and launch our annual “Flick the Switch” lighting ceremony, which sees the Village of Yorkville Park transform for the holidays.
Our enchanting “tunnel” is a beautiful space to stop, take photos, and get in the festive spirit. A walk through the park takes you through a variety of different displays to explore, from snowflakes to the “light fountain,” making for a magical night out. Additionally, we’ll have 138 lit trees along Bloor Street, transforming the entire street into a magical display. The lighting will remain until the end of December, brightening the area throughout the winter.
