Friday, February 28th, 2020. 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Bram and Bluma Appel Salon,
Toronto Reference Library
789 Yonge St, Toronto

Enjoy an amazing evening featuring more than 30 superb food and beverage stations, starring some of the city’s best chefs and most enticing culinary creations. Move and groove to live music and out-bid fellow foodies on one-of-a-kind items at a silent auction.

‍Our annual fundraiser is unlike any you’ve experienced before. Recipe for Change 2020 is putting a spotlight on the culinary artistry and vision of some of Toronto’s most dynamic Black chefs, brewers and winemakers. Take in the elegance of the Bram & Bluma Appel Salon at the Toronto Reference Library and celebrate the power of food!

All proceeds support programs and initiatives that increase access to good food and challenge food insecurity across the city. Our community-led programs and services reach more than 250,000 Torontonians through school nutrition programs, urban farms and community gardens, affordable markets, and cooking workshops for newcomers, young parents, and people living in transitional housing.

About FoodShare:

We do more than distribute good food. We advocate for living wages, push against cuts to critical social services, and collaborate on important research to support the right to food for everyone no matter who you are or where you live. We believe that food justice means challenging the many systemic barriers that prevent people from accessing fresh, nutritious and affordable food. At FoodShare we use an equity lens to seek food security for everyone.
