Known for his cinematic and provocative imagery, Shields works at the edge of narrative—where glamour tips into danger and beauty into disquiet. Over the past 15 years, his work has drawn record-breaking gallery attendance worldwide and achieved multiple auction records at Phillips, Christie’s, and Sotheby’s.
