With an extensive repertoire spanning popular Latin-Jazz, Salsa, and World music, the Jorge and Yuri Duo offers an intimate experience. The Duo was awarded The Spanish Heritage award by the City of Toronto, and has appeared on CBC Radio, CityTV’s Breakfast Television, and Global TV.

Award-winning recording artist and songwriter Faith Amour is a Toronto vocalist steadily emerging onto the North American jazz scene. In her latest project, IMANOVA, she creates an alluring modern jazz-world sound, melding story and heart songs with the vibrant rhythms of her South American heritage, and reflecting the influences of her multicultural city, extensive music study, and world travels. Faith has opened for and shared the stage with jazz luminaries on three continents, writing in the innovative styles of such renowned vocal jazz fusion visionaries as Kurt Elling, Somi and Gretchen Parlato. Faith will sing originals from her last album “Bright Eyes”, and unreleased tracks from her upcoming EP entitled IMANOVA #mood.

In the veins of this versatile singer/songwriter flow the rhythms and melodies of her native South America; the excitement of Brazilian samba, the sweet seductiveness of bossa nova, the passion of tango and her love for the exploration of many other musical styles insinuate their way into her music. Anima, Matzner’s first solo album after diving into jazz (released in 2018 under Triplet Records), explores the soft side of her musical soul, filtered through a firm commitment to song writing and a new-found perspective on her South American past, an achievement honoured by a recent Global Music Award.
