Gumball 3000 Rolling into Bloor-Yorkville

Superstars and supercars is the name of the Gumball 3000 game! This annual celebrity motor rally is returning to Toronto and kicking off the event in Bloor-Yorkville on May 27th from 11 am – 12 am. Gumball 3000 is a global event, taking its drivers on a 6 day roundtrip from Toronto to Miami. Far from your average road trip, the cars are some of the worlds most famous and iconic models.

The event is led by celebrity couple Maximillian Cooper, the founder and host of Gumball 3000 and his Grammy award-winning wife, rapper Eve, who will be driving their Lamborghini Aventador. Leading the pack, Maximillian and Eve will be joined by other drivers representing over 50 nationalities and over 100 other vehicles.

Join us at the Bay Street Gumball 3000 Grid

We’re pleased to host the Gumball Grid, a static car taking place on Bay Street (from Scollard Street to Bloor Street) May 27th from 11 am – midnight , as superstars including deadmau5, Bun B, Ken Griffey Jr., David Hasselhoff, CeeLo Green, Tony Hawk and more come together to participate and raise money for the Gumball 3000 Foundation. This charity supports a variety of youth-based projects in low-income communities.

Other celebrity participants include Miami Heat superstar Jimmy Butler and New Girl actor Lamorne Morris. We invite you to come out to the Bloor-Yorkville neighbourhood and join in on the fun, while discovering our unique retailers and fantastic restaurants.

This event is free to attend and is open to all ages.

Deadmau5 to Perform at the Gumball 3000 Concert

After checking out the Gumball Grid, guests can head south on Yonge Street to catch Deadmau5 performing a free, live concert at Yonge-Dundas Square. The concert is taking place from 6 pm – 11 pm and will include Bun B and other special guests.

The next morning, May 28th at 11 am, the next part of the journey will begin. Drivers will parade south on Bay Street toward Dundas Square, where David Hasselhoff will wave the flag midday, sending drivers off on the next leg of the drive.
