JÉRÔME Art & Photography is a portrait studio creating original artwork centred on family, identity, and the relationships that shape our lives.
For more than 25 years, portrait artist Jérôme Scullino has photographed individuals and families with an emphasis on presence rather than performance. His process begins with observation and conversation, allowing each portrait to emerge from the character, body language, and connection of the people before him.
The studio also creates legacy portraits for women—commissioned works marking presence, personal authorship, and the chapters of a life that deserve to be made visible. A woman may be portrayed alone or with the people whose lives have been shaped by hers.
Together with his wife and creative partner, Nisha, Jérôme transforms selected portraits into monochrome works and one-of-a-kind mixed-media artworks made with photography, oils, pigments, and beeswax.
Every commission is conceived as a finished physical work—something made to live within the home, become part of a family’s visual history, and be carried forward through generations.
Portrait commissions are available by appointment at the Yorkville studio.
Hours are by appointment.
