The Bloor-Yorkville area has long been home to some of the world’s leading luxury brands and designers. Adding to this list is Carrera y Carrera, a Spanish jeweller, founded in 1885, who has opened its first North American location in Toronto, located on Old York Lane (Unit 6, 138 Cumberland Street).
With the ongoing redesign of Yorkville Village (formerly Hazelton Lanes), come several new openings. Welcome to Ofelia, Du Monde Optical, and Judith and Charles! Teatro Verde will be calling Yorkville Village their home, with an anticipated opening in March. And wishing congratulations to Equinox, who celebrated their Grand Opening on February 3rd! As the renovation unfolds, watch for more exciting announcements at Yorkville Village.
The newly refurbished Yorkville Avenue welcomes Chabrol, which recently opened at 90 Yorkville Avenue, offering South of France cuisine. This charming bistro offers a mouth-watering menu to warm your insides, and this summer will boast a quaint courtyard patio.
This summer, Yorkville Avenue will be ‘seeing red’, as Christian Louboutin opens a rare, freestanding location at 99 Yorkville Avenue! The shop will offer a large selection of highly coveted, red-soled shoes to both women and men.
…and as Teatro Verde relocates to Yorkville Village from 98 Yorkville Avenue, the original Mount Sinai landmark, Chanel will relocate its flagship store from Bloor Street. The new store spans 8,700 square feet, over 2 levels and will be one of the largest stand alone Chanel boutiques in North America. The opening is planned for January 2017!
