The in-person race is taking place on September 11th, so there is still time to join in either by running, jogging, or walking! Additionally, you can participate by donating to one of the fantastic local charities without participating in the race component. Those choosing to participate in the Virtual Run can complete their 5k anytime between September 11th and September 18th. Details on how to track virtual run times will be emailed prior to the race kick-off.

All participants will receive a Premium Race Kit (worth $150), a refreshment bag, and a finishers medal!  This year’s race kit items are housed in a waterproof 10-liter dry bag donated by Pusateri’s and will be filled with healthy snacks from local vendors. The unique finishers medal doubles as a runner’s safety light, featuring two light options, a clip, and straps to clip onto your clothes, bike, or stroller!

Post-Run Food Festival & Closing Ceremony
After completing the race, participants can head back to Jesse Ketchum field to pick up their food bags at their respective charity booth (arranged by the Yorkville Run), interact with food and beverage vendors, and watch the awards ceremony. This is a great way to celebrate and connect with the community.
Supporting Local Charities
This unique event allows participants to support a charity of their choice, by selecting from over 30 incredible organizations, including Alzheimer Society of Toronto, Assaulted Women’s Helpline, Boost Child & Youth Advocacy Centre, LGBT Youth Line, North York Women’s Shelter, PAWS, The Kidney Foundation of Canada and many more. Over the previous 12 years, the Constantine Yorkville Run has raised over $3.8 million for small local charities. This year, the goal is to reach $1,000,000!
