Bloor-Yorkville is a proud community partner of the TD Toronto Jazz Festival and we’re thrilled to welcome them back to the neighbourhood for their 35th anniversary! From June 24th – to July 3rd, we invite you to experience ten days of free, spectacular jazz performances from some of the most celebrated artists. Join us as we celebrate summer, enjoy free concerts, and explore the best that Bloor-Yorkville has to offer!

Opening Weekend at Avenue Road and Bloor Street

Join in on the kick-off to the festival with opening weekend happening at the iconic corner of Avenue Road and Bloor Street. The evening will feature The New Power Generation: Featuring The Music Of Prince, JUNO Award winner of Traditional R&B/Soul Recording Savannah Ré, R&B sensation Amber Mark, and critically acclaimed rapper and singer TOBi.

Festival Village
Within the Village of Yorkville Park

This year, there will be two stages set up within Festival Village  (115 Cumberland Street) with daily performances from 5 pm – 8:30 pm on weekdays and from 3 pm – 10:30 pm on weekends. The TD Stage, located on the east end of the park will feature over 30 performances throughout the 10 days. The Festival Village Stage will be located near the “Big Rock,” so grab a seat and enjoy over 10 acoustic performances throughout the festival!

Both Festival Village stages will include a mix of seated and standing room and the entire area will be licensed for food and beverages. Some of the performances taking place at the Festival Village include Big Smoke Brass, Jane Bunnet, and The Magnolia Brass Band. The schedule ranges from 5 pm – 8:30 pm on weekdays and 3 pm – 8:30 pm on weekends.

The Grove
Victoria College Quad (91 Charles Street West)

Guests of the TD Toronto Jazz Festival Gather on the Big Rock in the Village of Yorkville Park

In order to further expand their outdoor concert series, the festival has expanded its event footprint this year to include two stages at the Victoria College Quad (Charles Street between Queens Park and Bay Street). The area will be transformed into the “OLG Grove,” allowing guests to set up on the grass or enjoy the festival’s Muskoka Chairs.

Evenings in Bloor-Yorkville

As part of the Tanqueray Late Nites series, you can visit a few of our local restaurants, participating as hosts for late-night performances. Beginning between 9 pm – 9:30 pm each night of the festival, you can stop by Sassafraz, Gatsby at the Windsor Arms Hotel, or Middle8 for food, drinks, and live shows!
