Bloor-Yorkville BIA is proud to be a Community Partner with Toronto Fashion Week (TFW) and we are very excited to advise that the event returns for its third straight season here in Bloor-Yorkville –September 4-6th.
Top-tier Canadian talent is slated to appear on the runway in Yorkville Village and in presentation format in the Studio. Also returning is the RE\SET showroom, an engaging, consumer-facing retail experience, where the public will have the opportunity to meet designers and shop current collections in addition to pre-ordering SS’19. The RE\SET™ showroom will be located at 87 Yorkville Ave. and will be open to the public daily from 3pm – 9pm.
In addition, attendees will be treated to elevated programming which will include live podcast tapings of Fashion Talks hosted by CBC journalist Donna Bishop, as well as a new exhibit by CAFTCAD called From Concept to Creation: An Exhibition of Canadian Costume Art and Design, showcasing the best in Canadian costume design.
Finally, Toronto Fashion Week is thrilled to announce that Caitlin Cronenberg and Jessica Ennis will be hosting the opening night party to launch their new book The Endings: Photographic Stories of Love, Loss, Heartbreak and Beginning Again, which features vignettes of A-listers such as Julianne Moore and Keira Knightley. And for the first time this season, Toronto Life and FASHION’s annual “Best Dressed” bash will take place during the closing night party.
