Have you ever wanted to walk a red carpet through one of Toronto’s most glamorous streets? The 9th Annual Yorkville Exotic Car Show is your chance! Each Father’s Day, Bloor-Yorkville hosts this fantastic charity event in support of Prostate Cancer Canada (PCC) and we hope to see you there! On June 16th, from 12 pm to 5 pm, Bloor Street will be closed to traffic from Avenue Road to Bay Street and the infamous red carpet rolled out, allowing friends and family to browse over 100 exotic, rare, and classic cars.
This is a free community event and is open to guests of all ages. The 2019 programme includes 10 car corrals featuring everything from a McLaren 720s, Shelby Series 1, Aston Martin DB11, Porsche 911 GT2 RS and more. Highlights for this year also include the 70th Anniversary of Ferrari with a Ferrari Superamerica and a 2015 LaFerrari, creating an exciting opportunity to get up close with rarely seen vehicles. There will also be an emphasis on the evolution of these cars with models from years past paired next to the more recent models, giving enthusiasts the opportunity to appreciate the history of the designs.
Further event highlights include live, musical performances by California Sun, Linda Carone, Christopher Platt Trio, and Los Locos. Guests are invited to visit our team at the Bloor-Yorkville BIA tent to enter our exciting on-site draw to win prize packages which include fantastic donations from our Bloor-Yorkville businesses, valued at $1800 and $1200. We also encourage you to stop by the Prostate Cancer Canada tent and enter the 50/50 draw; all proceeds will be donated to PCC.
