As we start off the New Year, we’d like to reflect on some of our best moments of 2018! It was as eventful as ever for the Bloor-Yorkville community, from Bloor-Yorkville Icefest to the Yorkville Exotic Car Show, to Summer Music in the Park, to Holiday Magic with Shawn Hook. These annual events allow us to support arts and culture and partner with important charities like CANFAR, Prostate Cancer Canada, and the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Of course, there was also the infamous Toronto Santa Speedo Run in support of Sick Kids Hospital, for those brave enough to battle the elements.

At the December 2018 TABIA Awards, we were thrilled to receive the Community Engagement Award for our work with Toronto Fashion Week, TD Toronto Jazz Fest, and Bloor Street Entertains. We are happy to contribute to these events through in-kind donations, event marketing and social media, financial support, and on-site assistance.

We hope you joined us for some of these special moments throughout 2018 and if not, we hope to see you in 2019! Keep an eye on our Annual and Community events pages for all the info. Wishing you all a wonderful New Year from the Bloor-Yorkville BIA.
