You’ll be in and out in an hour, after finishing a mix of cardio and strength training circuits while wearing a heart rate monitor to ensure you’re “in the orange” (the desired heart rate zone). Monthly membership options offer either 4, 8, or unlimited classes per month, while packages of 10, 20, or 30 classes are also available.

F45

With different circuits every day of the week and no stationary machines, F45 keeps your brain and body guessing! Each workout is 45 minutes in length and focuses on functional movements, building a stronger foundation for real world activities. F45 offers unlimited class packages billed monthly or bi-weekly.

Barry’s

After taking Los Angeles by storm, Barry’s quickly became a must-try for fitness enthusiasts. Their multi-level Bloor-Yorkville space welcomes you to the “Red Room” as you work between sprints and weight lifting. Barry’s memberships include class packages or monthly memberships offering between 8-30 classes per month.

Yearly Races

Connect with the community while working on your fitness! Bloor-Yorkville is a proud Community Partner of The Constantine Yorkville Run, an annual 5k that brings together local runners and businesses to raise funds for 30+ small, local charities. Participants can choose which charity they wish to support and are able to participate in a series of fund-raising contests throughout the year, leading up to the September race. Over the last 11 years, the Constantine Yorkville Run has raised over 3 million dollars for local charity groups.

Running & Cycling Routes

 

You might not realize Bloor-Yorkville is a gateway to a number of outdoor trails. For longer distance walks or runs, head north from central Yorkville (about a 30 minute walk) to the David Balfour Park Trail, where you can walk, jog, run or cycle along the ravine. The trail creates a 2.7 km loop, offering the perfect escape into nature. Another great option is to head from Bloor-Yorkville to the Evergreen Brickworks trails (about a 35-minute walk). Without any need to hop in a car, both of these are great ways to get your steps in, while spending more time outdoors.

Mobility & Core

Building mobility and a strong core are fundamental pillars to overall health. Pilates targets both aspects, working on strengthening and lengthening muscles to create overall improved strength and flexibility. As a low-impact form of movement, Pilates helps protect joint health, while still elevating the heart rate.

Private and group Pilates classes are available in Bloor-Yorkville with both reformer (equipment-based) and mat classes offered. Your private Yorkville Pilates studio! Pilates by Stav offers private one-on-one contemporary Pilates. Stav works with each client to create a customized movement program, utilizing top of the line equipment such as a reformer, tower, chair and barrel. Small group classes are offered online.
