Bloor-Yorkville is proud to return as the official Community Partner for the third annual Yorkville Murals event. Taking place from September 24th-26th we invite you to explore the Bloor-Yorkville neighbourhood, while discovering one-of-a-kind murals and art installations. Bringing people together in a safe and responsible way, this cultural event celebrates contemporary public art and will include exciting initiatives such as a block party on the rooftop of the Cumberland Parkade, pop-up art fairs, film screenings, and more.
This is an annual three-day initiative, celebrating contemporary muralism and public art. Adding to the beauty of our neighbourhood, Yorkville Murals helps to amplify our stunning streetscape and unique architecture.
This year, Bloor-Yorkville will be organized into various “Zones.” Each Zone features a different experience, whether its a large scale mural, a film screening, Romeo’s Gin Pop-Up Bar, or temporary art exhibit. To explore each of the art zones, please visit our Yorkville Murals event website where you can learn more and explore our event map.
To bring this experience to life, a number of renowned artists have been creating both temporary and more permanent installations throughout the summer.
